Cool River is passionate about starting churches.  Assistance to new churches consists of a all or a combination of the following: financial support, resource finding, network building, coaching, encouragement and partnership in ministry.

We work together with GlocalNet to help start churches in the US and with a local network of like minded churches to start new churches in and around Boulder, Colorado.

Emmaus Road Community, Boulder County --"Emmaus Road Community consists of ordinary people, representing different backgrounds, neighborhoods, and life stages. We share life with one another, play together, walk along side of each other through the joys and struggles we all face. What’s more though, we share in the journey of knowing an extraordinary God who gives life, freedom, direction, hope and strength in the midst of daily living. We are followers of Jesus who desire to be a compassionate, generous people to those around us. Our growing community meets weekly in multiple small groups called house churches, an expression of the larger church family happening in homes and neighborhoods. We also come together monthly for an All Gathering, an environment for the house churches to enjoy corporate worship and fellowship.

Roots Christian Church, Boulder --(Roots just merged with Origins and Boulder Vineyard and it's a very beautiful thing--check out the new website here )  "We are a redemptive community living in the Way of Jesus in Boulder, Colorado. When we use the term Church we are talking about a people, not an event. Our Church is a gathered community who are growing together in our love for God and one another. We are a living organism, a collective of lives, a mosaic of humanity who together are growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus."  

Church at Prairie's Edge, Madison -- "Prairie's Edge is still in a "Comming Soon" stage of development, but will be offering opportunities to gather in small group settings in the near future.  Prairie's Edge is a church community whose beliefs are consistent with historic Christianity and lived out in ways that practically demonstrate God’s love for the people in our community and our world!"  Also check out the lead pastor, chad ellis' blog HERE .
