Kevin Colón, lead pastor  BLOG

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the States, Kevin brings diversity in culture, education and experience to Cool River. Karen Gibson, associate pastor

Karen has lived in Colorado for nine years (six in Superior). She has been at Cool River (almost) from the beginning.  She brings a vast amount of experience in working with churches in various capacities. Karen's primary responsibility is the organizational areas of Cool River.

Victoria Griebel, ministry assistant

Born and raised in a small town in Nebraska, Victoria now makes her home in Colorado with her husband Jeremy. She earned Bachelor's degrees in both Finance and Marketing from Chadron State College in Chadron, NE.  Victoria will be primarily focused on the financial picture of the church as well as dabbling in the overall communications piece. 

Amy Colón, interim children’s pastor (birth-6th grade)

Amy has three children and a masters degree in Christian education.  Both serve her well as she oversees the children's ministry at Cool River.  Call or email her for questions or to get involved in this awesome ministry.

Ashley Hammond, worship pastor

Ashley was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Dallas Baptist University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music. Her passions include playing the piano, song writing, and interacting with children. She is happily married to the man of her dreams (Ben the "youth guy"), has a little daughter named, Ryann, and is enjoying her new life in Colorado. Ben Hammond, youth pastor (6th-12th grade)

Ben loves working with students, being outdoors, and serving as the Director of the SAC program at Eldorado K-8. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical studies and in Biology from Dallas Baptist University.
